 You simply cannot go wrong with slow cooker recipes. Easily one of the most convenient ways to create macronutrient friendly recipes that also taste great and make meal prep a whole lot easier.

SERVES 2

Nutrition facts (per serving): 40g protein; 38g carbs; 11g fat

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 lb. boneless, skinless chicken
  • breast
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 large sweet potato, chopped
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 avocado

MAKING THE MEAL:

Place the chicken, water, onion, sweet potato, paprika, garlic powder, and soy sauce in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 5 hours or on high for 3 hours. Add the broccoli and cook for 1 more hour.

SERVING:

Serve each portion with half of the avocado.
